Simon Jauncey is an award winning Scots photographer  specialising in architecture & interiors. His work is featured regularly in many publications, particularly in Country Life Magazine with whom he has had a close relationship for over 20 years, shooting many architectural features. Simon's trademark is his use of natural light to maintain the architectural integrity of his subjects.  


His career began in South America in the 1980s. Simon speaks Spanish fluently & lived in Venezuela for 10 years working as an advertising photographer with campaigns for Ford, General Motors, IBM , Johnnie Walker & many other blue chip companies. With his own studio in Caracas he covered still life, food, fashion & automotive.  He returned to Scotland in the 1990s which has been his base for work, travelling throughout the UK & abroad for advertising & editorial clients.

Simon has photographed many of Scotland's great country houses & buildings for books, guide books, property brochures & magazine features, among them:
